Erasmus + Conference/Staff Training and Teaching Week at Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra
Only a couple of days now before we start our Erasmus + Conference and the 2nd International Staff Week at the Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra. The event will be held between 4th and 8th April 2016 in Jelenia Góra, Poland.
The purpose of the meeting is to promote the idea of internationalization and strengthen our international partnership through personal meetings. During the Week we will host guests from our partner institutions from Europe and beyond: Spain, Lithuania, Turkey, Syria, Ukraine, China, U.S.A. The Staff Week will enable the exchange and information sharing between participants on the issues of internationalization. The participants are requested to actively take part in discussions and contribute with their presentations on various topics or their home institution.
An essential goal of the week is equipping the participants with knowledge about the border-region of Poland with the surrounding Giant Mountains: Karkonosze where the College is situated.
At the Staff Traning at Karkonosze College in Jelenia Góra members of the higher education institutions from all departments: academics, career offices, press, information and library services as well as other - will be present.
Moreover, during the International Staff Week lecturers are also carrying out their Erasmus Teaching Programmes and teach our students in their respective fields. The schedule of the classes is attached below.
Our Erasmus + students can join any of these classes, as well as the presentations on 5th April, which are organized in the Rectorate Hall (without attending the lunch, though).
The language of communication is English.
Also, please let me know, if you were interested to join the lecturers in their trip around the Jelenia Góra Valley on Thursday or Friday - you would not have to pay for the transport, but if a big group wants to join, you would have to pay for your own lunch.
The updated programme of the whole week is attached below.
